We’re a small shop. We collect only what we need to fill your order and answer your questions, and we never sell your information.

Browsing the site
You can browse without telling us who you are. Like every website, ours sees your internet (IP) address and browser type when you visit. Our web host, Cloudflare, uses this to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks.
We don’t use analytics or advertising trackers. Product photos load from the servers of Ecwid, our online store provider, so Ecwid sees those requests too.
Cookies
Our pages use one cookie, called “bag”. It remembers what you’ve put in your bag (the product, any options and the quantity, nothing personal) and lasts 30 days.
The checkout page is run by Ecwid, which uses its own cookies to run the cart and checkout.
Placing an order
Checkout is run by Ecwid (by Lightspeed), our online store platform. When you order, you give your name, email, phone number and addresses. Your card details go to the payment processor; we never see or store your full card number.
We use your order details to fill and ship your order, answer questions about it and handle returns. We share your name and address with the delivery company that carries your parcel. Orders are kept in our store records. If you create an account, it is an Ecwid account. Ecwid’s own privacy policy explains how it handles your information.
Contacting us
If you use the contact form, we receive your name, email, order number (if you give one) and message by email. The form sends through Resend, an email delivery service; the website itself doesn’t keep a copy. We use it only to reply to you.
Mailing list
Our mailing list isn’t open yet, and the sign-up form doesn’t keep your address. We’ll update this page before it opens.
What we don’t do
We don’t sell or rent your information, and we don’t share it for advertising.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing debbie@thebluemantle.com. We keep the order records we need for tax and accounting.
Children
Our site is meant for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
